How to post and announcement
All members in our email database receive a WEEKLY reminder to check our blog for announcements.
The blog is our primary way of relaying messages to our members.
Each blog post is also forwarded to our Facebook account for those who have accounts there.
How to send announcements for posting on the blog----
Send all announcements to LSAG Announcements
Your email will be forwarded to the blog exactly as you have sent it.
• The subject line of your email becomes the TITLE of your blog post.
• The body of your email becomes the BODY of the blog post.
• Pictures in .jpg, .gif or.png format should be ATTACHED (not included inside the body) to the email.
An email to all of our members reminding them to check the blog goes out each Tuesday at 2pm.

Allow a minimum of two weeks for our members to receive their announcement to view your blog post.

Enhancements to our Blog
Every announcement we receive will continue to appear in the center of the blog in the order of when we posted the submission.
Additionally, the announcement will now appear under "Events by Month" and "Events by Organization"---the two labels that Jessica will be assigning. If someone is interested in a workshop that will take place in August they will easily find a list of those by clicking on August. Same idea if someone is interested in events occurring at a certain league. It is no longer necessary to scroll through all of the posts in the center of the blog to find a workshop or event. Hooray!!!! "Events by Month" and "Events by Organization" can be found on the left-hand side of the blog. The blog can be found at www.lsag.blogspot.com.
You will also notice tabs at the top of the blog page. We will begin to populate this area with more information in the coming weeks especially relating to our annual convention which will take place on May 20 & 21, 2011.
